It will be Monday when I get to exercise again-tomorrow I will be helping my daughter at her church. They are having a fall festival and her husband has to work so she will need me to help with her son at the festival. I would love spending time with him and and my dd. but mostly I need to help her watch him because they are expecting over a thousand people there. It is a big church, also it is open to anyone that wants to come not just the church members.
I love doing stretching, I am glad that I remembered that I needed to incorporate them in my routine. I probably got out of the habit of stretching when I had my operation and of course it took so long for me to be released by the dr. to even do slow walks. Then it took about 3 more months for me to be able to do the dumbbells. Nothing else been going on here.

hi Joy! i hope you had a good time at the fall festival and got to see your grandson. i baked all evening today for a church dinner tomorrow. it sounds like you've got a good eating plan, and one like how i'd like to eat. i've read that honey is an excellent, nutritious food (in moderation, of course).
ReplyDeletei'm thinking of "detoxing" after tomorrow (when i hope all the sweets are gone) until thanksgiving.
you mentioned stretching; have you ever tried pilates? if not, i highly recommend! i did it for about 4 weeks a few years ago and saw great results fast! i'm thinking of starting it up again; i've got 2 mari winsor dvds.

ReplyDeleteI really feel better now than I did when I was in my 30's. I have lots more energy and my hair and skin looks better.
I've never tried pilates, but I do have a video that was given to me. I'll have to hunt it up and try it out. I have some tae bo tapes too. I'll have to try them.
